Una scena fuori dal tempo che mantiene tutto
il fascino originale.
The barchessa of Villa Corner, Vendramin Zucconi, then Smania, was built in the 17th century as an annex to the adjacent Villa Barbarigo Fontana. In the second half of the 18th century it was acquired by the owner of Villa Corner Vendramin and incorporated into it.
Originally used as a cellar and granary serving the agricultural land behind it, it represents a typical example of the Venetian barchessa with the characteristic porticoed structure with round arches, half pillars, string courses and ogival windows. The building has recently been completely restored , while maintaining intact the original stylistic and architectural peculiarities.
